Description
| Meet over 150 artists from across the country and beyond who will show you their oils, acrylics, watercolors and mixed media, prints, drawings, sculptures, clay and glass works, jewelry and fiber works at one of the top festivals in American (Sunshine Artist Magazine)! And when you add gourmet food from area restaurants and caterers plus live entertainment in both theaters, there's no better way to spend a summer weekend! |
Entertainment
The entertainment in the Evans Amphitheater ranges from American-influenced roots/country/Cajun/blues (on Friday, July 8 at 6 pm with Cats on Holiday) to jazz classics and selections from the Great American Songbook (on Sunday, July 10 at 1 pm with the Nick Puin Quintet). In between there's contemporary folk (Wild Carrot, July 9, 11:30 am), bluegrass standards (Cedar Hill, July 9, 1:30 pm), swing and Dixieland (Tony Carmen Band, July 9, 3:30 pm), blues (Swamp Boogie Band, July 9, 5:30 pm), and zydeco (Terrance Simien, July 9, 8 pm).
Children will be entertained, engaged and inspired in the Alma Theater all 3 days! The Roots of American Music does a Jugband Jamboree on July 8 at 3:45 pm and 5:45 pm. On July 9 storyteller and singer Noah Budin performs at 12:30pm and 3:30 pm alternating with the Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers at 2 pm and 5 pm. Thaddeus Rex presents a detour off the well-worm kid-music path with his original songs and hilarious comedy on July 10 at 1 pm and 3 pm. |
