Vendor Types Needed: We are looking for all types of vendors, especially handmade and/or unique items. Just a few suggestions: Quilts, chimes/wind spinners, ceramics, baby/children's toys, dolls, doll clothes, glass block lights, custom music cds, etc. FOOD: Also would like Roasted Nuts, Kettle Korn, candy and smoothie vendors.
NOT Needed: INSIDE SPACES SOLD OUT - ONLY OUTSIDE AVAILABLE!
NO more jewelry please. Plus we already have key finders, Homemade Gourmet, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Avon, Mary Kay, Creative Memories, Pampered Chef, BeautiControl, Stampin' Up.
FOOD: We are serving breakfast and lunch plus having a Bake Sale, so we don't need most food vendors (hot dogs, cookies, etc). For more info, please inquire at naforr@tx.rr.com

20TH ANNUAL HARVEST CRAFT BAZAAR!
WOW! First United Methodist Church in The Colony has been hosting our Craft Bazaar for 20 YEARS! For our 20th anniversary, we are planning a bigger and better event with more vendors and lots of fun activites for the whole family. We invite you to join in the fun!
Many vendors have had such great success and fun at our previous bazaars, they come back year after year!
PUBLICITY: This year we are providing additional publicity through a booklet that will list Featured Vendors ($15), local business ads, list of all the participating vendors, and a list of the businesses who donated to the Opportunity Drawings.
VENDORS: Over 70 crafters and retail vendors will be participating with items including gift baskets, quilts, candles, jewelry, embroidery, knitting, ceramics, sports memorabilia, baby and children’s clothing, accessories and jewelry, toys, scrapbooks, homemade candies, stained glass, home décor, inspirational art, fun purses, holiday decorations, yard art, chair massages, pet accessories and SO MUCH MORE!!
VENDOR APPLICATIONS: Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All booth spaces will be assigned upon receipt of application and payment.
Table rentals need to be reserved and paid for with your booth rental. A limited number of tables will be available for rent on the day of the bazaar.
We would prefer hand-crafted items, but will consider others on an individual basis. Please mail pictures of your products with your application. Returning vendors do not need to send pictures unless you are adding or changing your products.
We reserve the right to reject anything not felt to be in good taste or within the guidelines of our bazaar. We will limit the number of vendors per category or specialty products.
If you display items not included on your application, you will be asked to remove them. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Street signs, flyers distributed to local businesses and day care centers, posters in local businesses, classified advertising (Dallas Morning News paid ad), local newspaper's free advertising and publicity, posting on community and city web sites, posting on radio community calendars |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
We would prefer hand-crafted items, but we will consider others on an individual basis. We reserve the right to reject anything not felt to be in good taste or within the guidelines of our bazaar. PLEASE notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booth. Refunds will be allowed up to 1 week before the bazaar. NO REFUNDS the day of the bazaar.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Jury Fee must be sent with a Seperate check. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |

Driving Directions Online
From Plano, McKinney, Frisco - Go west on Hwy 121 to The Colony. Take right on Paige Rd. The church is located on the northwest corner of Paige Rd and Avery.
From Lewisville, Flower Mound - Go east on Hwy 121 to The Colony. Take a left at Paige Rd. The church is located on the northwest corner of Paige Rd and Avery.
From Carrollton, Hebron - Take Josey Lane north to The Colony. Josey Lane becomes Hwy 423 (Main Street) at The Colony. Keep going north. At South Colony Blvd (landmarks are 7-11 and Texaco) take a right. Continue on S. Colony until you get to Paige Rd (landmark is Stop-N-Go). Turn right on Paige Rd and right on Avery. The church is located on the corner.
From Denton - Take I-35E south to Lewisville and follow Lewisville directions. OR Take Hwy 380 east to Hwy 423. Go south to The Colony where Hwy 423 turns into Main Street. Continue going south on Main St. and turn left on South Colony Blvd. Keep going to Paige Rd. Turn right and then turn right again at Avery.
