2007 ECCO DOMANI PINOT GRIGIO, ITALY
This wine has a clear, straw yellow color, with light golden reflections. The wine possesses pleasant floral and tropical fruit aromas, and has a light, crisp, clean and refreshing flavor, with fruit character and refined elegance.
2007 STARBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC, NEW ZEALAND
The Starborough 2007 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has a plush, approachable style, highlighted by the refreshing fruit accents and acidity that characterize wines from this region. The wine shows flavors of honeydew melon, passion fruit, and peach over a citrus background.
2006 FREI BROTHERS RESERVE CHARDONNAY, RUSSIAN RIVER
We craft our Frei Brothers Reserve wines in a gentle, traditional style enhanced by the use of modern techniques, to produces a wine that is both varietally accurate and reflects the terroir of the Russian River Valley. Our Chardonnay grapes are whole cluster pressed to eliminate bitterness and to maximize fresh fruit characters. Flavors of orange zest, green apple, and white currant. A hint of roasted hazelnut rounds of the finish.
2006 DA VINCI CHIANTI, ITALY
Color: Clear, ruby-red. Bouquet: Aromas of ripe plums, cherries and fresh red fruit accented by peppery notes. Palate: Well balanced and medium weight wine with flavors of ripe plums, cherries and red fruit. Lively with a soft mineral finish and round tannins that linger in a long peppery finish. Delicious with all starters, pastas and meat dishes.
2007 BELLE VALLEE PINOT NOIR, WILLAMETTE VALLEY
91 Points, Wine Spectator
Lithe, supple and juicy, with raspberry and strawberry fruit. Picks up some real depth, with hints of mineral and toast, as the finish sails on and on. Impressive for its refinement coupled with brilliant flavors. Drink now through 2015. 2,808 cases made. –HS
