| This is the fifth annual fair. A.H.O.S.T. (Artist Hands of Sequatchie Territory) is a non-profit organization promoting arts in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley area of Tennessee. The festival is held in and around lovingly restored log cabins 2 miles north of Pikeville, TN directly on the main highway artery-U.S. Highway 127. Attendance has steadily grown each year and most of our artists are repeaters. Entertainment has always and will continue to be a huge hit. |

A.H.O.S.T., a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of folk and traditional arts and crafts, is inviting you to join us for a rich cultural experience in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley.
On May 29th and 30th, 2010 (Sat. 9 am-5pm and Sun. 11 am-5pm CST) A.H.O.S.T. (Artists Hands of Sequatchie Territory) will host its 5th Log Cabin Days Arts and Crafts Show. This show will be held at the Log Cabin Village two (2) miles north of Pikeville, TN on U.S. Highway 127. The location is approximately a 60 minute drive from Chattanooga, 2 hr. drive from Nashville or Knoxville, with easy access and free parking. Camping will be available in the rough.
The show is outdoors on a grassy field and will be held rain or shine. The spaces are 10’ x 20’ and the cost is a non-refundable, flat fee per space (includes both days). Participants are expected to exhibit both days of the show. Booths may not breakdown until 5:00 pm on Sunday, May 30, 2010.
You will provide your own tent, tables and display. Any insurance will be provided by the vendor. Vehicles must be parked in designated areas.
Provisions are taken for security.
Set up will begin Friday afternoon and must be complete by 8:00 am Saturday morning of the show.
Sites with electricity available are limited. Please let us know if you NEED ELECTRICITY as early as possible. You must provide your own power cords. Three pronged heavy duty plugs are required. There is an additional $10 charge for sites with electricity.
All products must be hand crafted and hand made by the artist/crafter. Imported goods and flea market items will not be accepted. Vendors are responsible for collecting all applicable sales tax.
Pets are permitted on a leash. Please dispose of all waste appropriately.
We look forward to working with you this spring. Please complete the attached application and return it by April 30, 2010. Booth assignments will be made by order of applications as they are received.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Pets OK! No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Table Cloth or Drape Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicles can be left behind/in/near spot. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only. All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone. All items must be Fine Craft or Art. Limited number of Artists per category. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Take US Highway 27 north towards Dayton. Go west on S.R. 30 towards Pikeville. Turn right on U.S. Highway 127 and go approximately 3 miles to Log Cabin Village.
