Event/Application Rules & Regulations
1. Exhibitor is not confirmed until payment in full is received. Fees are due in full not later than October 15, 2008.
2. Food vendors may only distribute information and/or small samples. No food can be sold at this event!
3. If you are exhibiting on Friday AND Saturday, it is recommended that you break down your booth on Friday and take merchandise with you. Expo is not responsible nor liable for any merchandise/products left on site.
4. JAMCo, its sponsors, advertisers, staff, nor programming partners associated with the Gospel Performing Arts Expo are NOT RESPONSIBLE nor liable in any manner for any damage to or theft of exhibitor’s property We will, however, use all reasonable care to prevent such losses (within our power) from occurring. Exhibitor agrees to hold all entities associated with this event harmless and blameless and assume all liability for bodily injury of property damage to employees or patrons.
5. Exhibitors must keep and leave their area(s) free of trash and debris. Exhibitor is responsible for dispensing any items used in a safe manner.
6. Electricity must be arranged through vendor services at the Expo Center. Exhibitor understands that an additional charge will be incurred for such service.
7. Expo has the right to select and reject any application. A refund – minus $3 for postage and handling will be refunded to any exhibitor who is not accepted.
8. Expo will refund any exhibitor who cancels within 45 days of the event with written notice – minus $3 for postage and handling. No refunds will be issued after this time, however a 50% credit will be given towards a specified upcoming JAMCo event.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. City law requires city issued vendor permit. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds. Show Credits available by condition. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Table Cloth or Drape Required. No Eating or Drinking permitted at booth. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Retail Items Allowed. Limited number of Artists per category. Table cloths required. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Determined Quality Level: 2
