Description
The ultimate holiday shopping experience. The Holiday Fair Expo is an exciting new gift show that is in the seventh year running this event of its kind here in the Southern Tier. Come with your holiday gift lists in hand ready to shop. The Expo is not a craft fair, art fair, or traditional non-profit fundraiser, but it has elements of all three.
The 2009 Holiday Expo will feature 25 merchants offering unique items for the entire family, including home décor, apparel, accessories, jewelry, novelties, pottery, gourmet food, toys, and much more.
This Holiday Fair Expo in Newark Valley is modeled after several extraordinarily successful previous events and is sure to generate huge interest. The expo is organized and run by the Newark Valley Firemen's Auxiliary with proceeds going towards our community scholarships.

Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Vendors should supply their own extension cords if you are granted permission for a wall space and you require electricity.
The vendors are required to remove empty cardboard containers and clean up debris from their area.
Payment must be received no later than November 10, to participate. Your table space is non-refundable except under dire emergency. In the event that you would not be able to attend the event, you may have someone take your place with the same craft/show.
No used items are to be sold at this event! THANK YOU! Common Rules Selected: Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds. Show Credits available by condition. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Vehicles can not be brought near stand for un/loading. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Retail Items Allowed. Limited number of Artists per category. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them. Determined Quality Level: 2
