Description
A festive Christmas Holiday Gift Mart with over 80 vendors featuring a variety of quality arts and craft vendors with unique handmade products. We will also have Commerical vendors providing quality merchandise.
Both Arts and Crafts and commerical vendors will have limits on the amount of vendors in each category. We are attemping to limit duplicate products from individual vendors which will add to the overall variety of products available at the show.
As this is a Xmas show, we require that all vendors to decorate their booths for the Xmas season.
A $1 donation will be made to Hospice of SC, our benefiting charity for each paid admission.

Advertising Done for This Event
| Advertising to begin 3 weeks prior to event. Radio blitz on 4 local stations and Newspaper advertising blitz last week prior to event. Also partnered with Hospice of SC to benefit their organization which will receive donate and help in promoting this event through their many contacts. Posters placed around town and outdoor advertising. |

GEX Events
Rules & Regulations
1. Displays shall no be taller than 8’ at rear of vendor’s booth nor higher than 42” on sides of vendor’s booth. Should special needs for display be required, contact GEX Events prior to show to see if arrangements can be made to accommodate special needs.
2. Subletting of booth space is prohibited.
3. GEX Events is solely responsible for the assignment of booth space. GEX Events reserves the right to reassign booth space at any time.
4. All vehicles must be moved from the loading area immediately after being unloaded during move-in and loaded during move-out.
5. Heavy items must be carried or moved in on wheels so as not to cause permanent scratches or mars to the floors of the facility.
6. The driving of nails, tacks, screws or use of any method of attaching materials to walls, floors or railing of the facility is prohibited.
7. All booths/displays must be set-up and ready for business at opening of the show to the public. NO move-ins or set-ups will be permitted while the show is open to the public.
8. The vendor will observe the designated show hours and be present in their booth while the show is open to the public, no exceptions.
9. The vendor will confine all sales activities within the limits of their designated booth space. Tables, chairs and display items may not be placed in the aisle way. Microphones and other sound producing equipment must be kept at a volume which does not disturb other vendors.
10. The sale of any food or beverage products must be conducted in full compliance of
the local health department regulations. Any licenses, permits, fees, etc., necessary for the sale of food or beverage products must be obtained by the vendor. No food or beverage product can be sold which could be considered in competition with the facility's concessions
GEX Events
11. The vendor will be responsible for the collection, reporting and payment of any and all applicable sales tax as a result of doing business during the show.
12. Smoking is prohibited inside facilities, no exceptions.
13. Alcohol, Firearms, illegal drugs and any other illegal activities are prohibited.
14. NO pets permitted in facilities, no exceptions.
15. Booths/displays will NOT be torn down before the show closes to the public on the final day, no exceptions.
16. The vendor will remove all merchandise, product, refuse, rubbish, displays, etc. immediately after the close of the show on the final day. All boxes MUST be broken down and placed in the appropriate area. The vendor will assume the cost of removal of any excessive debris/refuse left by the vendor or their representative.
17. The vendor will be responsible to replace, repair and otherwise assumes the expense for any defacement and/or damage to the facility caused by the vendor or their representatives.
18. All tables must be covered to floor with skirt and cover. All storage boxes must be placed under tables or removed from booth.
19. All booths must be decorated for Xmas , no exceptions.
20. The Rules and Regulations are subject to the sole interpretation of GEX Events and may be modified and/or expanded at its sole discretion.
Violating the Rules and Regulations established by GEX Events will be cause for immediate expulsion from the show, forfeiture of any fees paid and denial of participation in any future shows.

Common Rules Selected: Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos. Retail Items Allowed. Limited number of Artists per category. Floor length table cloths required. All product types to be sold must be listed on application. Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed. Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
