Description
  Every Friday in 2007 (except for major holidays) the Galleria is the home of a new show called "Friday with the Artist".  Each week different artists and crafters may demonstrate & sell their works.
  The week that an exhibitor is accepted, he/she will be the only one representing their medium.  Example:  only one watercolorist, one jeweler, one glass blower, one fiber artist, etc.
  Some weeks the show may only have one artist participating, other weeks the show will have many artists and crafters included.
  As a participant, you are encouraged to demonstrate your skills on site.


Event/Application Rules & Regulations
1.     Northcoast Promotions, Inc. (NPI) has been contracted to organize the fine crafters and artists to display & sell their works at this show.  All exhibitor correspondence, written or verbal, must pass through Northcoast Promotions, Inc. in regards to this show.  The Galleria employees and Minshall Management will refer you back to us with any questions you may have.  
2.     NPI will be present before, during, and after this event.  All communication in regards to the event while the event is underway should come through NPI.  
3.     Northcoast Promotions, Inc., their staff, agents, representatives, volunteers, the Galleria at Erieview, their staff, agents, representatives and volunteers and Minshall Management Company, their staff, agents, representatives and volunteers will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property of exhibitors, their representatives, customers, or any other person and/or damage or injury to any person participating in this event for any reason.
Costs
4.     Costs are $10.00 for each Friday.   Exhibitors may bring their own tables, chairs and props to display and sell.
5.     Table rentals are $5.00 per 6’ table and include 2 chairs.
6.     Extra chair rentals are $0.50 per chair.
7.     Table coverings are available for a charge of $2.00 per table.  The coverings are beige.
8.     Artists may use their own coverings for the tables.
9.     There will be no refunds or show credits once an agreement is received and accepted.
10.     Make checks out to Northcoast Promotions, Inc.  Any checks returned for NSF will be subject to a $25.00 surcharge.
Set Up & Tear Down
11.     Exhibitors may set up between 8:30 am – 9:45 am and ready for business by 10:00 am Friday morning.  
12.     All tables, chairs & artwork must be removed on Friday at the close of business for the day.
Space Assignments
13.     Exhibitor space will be determined by the promoter.
14.     This is a non-juried show.  All crafters and artists are welcome.  We will, however, screen applications to ensure diversity and quality of this show.
15.     Exhibitors will bring their own set ups unless otherwise indicated on the attached application.  
16.     Exhibitors will receive a confirmation letter, telephone call or e-mail with show information.  Please be sure to indicate any special requests on the agreement. All efforts will be made to accommodate your special requests.
17.     Exhibitors must remain within their space assignments.  Please be considerate of your neighbors.
Electricity
18.     Electricity will be available on a very limited basis.  
19.     Electricity may be requested under “special requests”, and checked off on the application.
20.     Outlets are found in the floor & will be shared by multiple booths.
21.     We will not allow cords to cross the floor for safety reasons.
22.     It is the exhibitors’ responsibility to bring extension cords.  
23.     Exhibitors are expected to share & work together when more than one exhibitor is plugged into the same outlet.  
Art & Crafts Displayed
24.     Any crafts displayed that have not received prior approval will be subject to the promoters’ and Minshall Management discretion.
25.     Exhibitors displaying items not approved before the show date may be ask to put them away, or be asked to leave without refund.
26.     All artwork and fine crafts must be in good taste.  This is a family friendly event.
27.     Artists & Crafters are to submit photographs of their art/craft and or set up. Photographs may range in size from 3” x 5” to 8” x 10”. Photographs may also be submitted via e-mail to northcoastpromo@hotmail.com.
28.     All submitted photographs of accepted exhibitors become the property of NPI. All other photographs will be returned to exhibitors who include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with this agreement.
29.     Any agreements submitted without photos, catalogs or flyers of works submitted would be returned and not accepted.
Participation
30.     Artists may participate once per month.
31.     As a participating artist, you will be the only representative of your medium that week.  
32.     Some weeks there may only be one artist participating, other weeks there may be many.
33.     Any exhibitor who packs up early and leaves will not be invited back.  If you are scheduled for future NPI shows, your participation fees will be mailed back to you less handling charges and your spaces will be released.
Parking Fees
34.     Exhibitors are responsible for any parking fees incurred.  
35.     Parking fees are about $16.00 for Friday if you park in the underground parking garage during the event.  There are additional parking lots around the Galleria that start at around $4.25 for the day.  
36.     Exhibitors may unload their vehicles along St. Clair Ave. & must park at a meter.  You are responsible for meter costs (75 cents per hour).  You will be responsible for any parking fines incurred.
Food
37.     Exhibitors may not sell food unless stated, and approved by NPI. Candy, fudge and baked goods must comply with Ohio Law.
38.     If you wish to sell other food, you will be classified as a food vendor and must comply with Cuyahoga Health Department Codes.  Contact NPI for more details.  
39.     The food court will be open during our event.  
Agreements
40.     Agreements will be accepted until the Friday before the scheduled date of participation.
41.     Only one artist per medium will be represented each week.
42.     No “walk ins” will be accepted the day of the show, even if the medium is not being represented that week.

Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds or Show Credits. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. All paintings must hang. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. NO Setup until vehicle fully unloaded and moved. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.

A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos.
All items must be mostly hand made, no minor Embellishments only.
Limited number of Artists per category.
