As you know, November is Northwest Beer month at Redbones!
This is year 13 of the tradition and many favorite breweries are sending kegs and we are welcoming some new breweries too!
Among returning breweries from Washington are Boundary Bay and Elysian. We count on Elysian every year for the exceptional beer and also because brewer/owner Dick Cantwell provides warehousing for all the Washington beers before they are shipped East. New Washington Breweries include Diamond Knot and Pyramid.
From Oregon, Alameda, New Old Lompoc and Siletz are sending kegs again. And two new breweries, though familiar brewers, are participating. Jack Harris left Bill’s Tavern & Brewhouse to open Fort George Brewery and we’ll be getting beer from him; also from Jamie Floyd, formerly of Steelhead, who recently started Ninkasi Brewing. We’re looking forward to their beers.
This year, we’re kicking off the Fest in early October - as soon as the beer arrives. The dinners, as always, will be in November: Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13 @ 7pm. Dick Cantwell will speak along with others from the Northwest. Dinner includes NW beer, Redbones BBQ and more NW beer... all for $50.00 per person. Reserve soon as these dinners sell out fast.
