Description
This craft faire has been taking place for over 20 years. It features hand-crafted items, one of a kind gifts, and gourmet foods.
Located indoors at the famous Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. There is a central check-out, so you pay only once after you have finished shopping. The vendors are collected from all over the state, as well as Arizona. There is no fee to enter the show, however, the Del Mar Fairgrounds does charge a parking fee. |
Advertising Done for This Event
| Approximate budget: $20,000 Extensive advertising in local newspapers. Del Mar Fairgrounds promotes out event on marque' and bulletins. 7,000 postcards are mailed out to previous customers as well as delivered to local faires and businesses. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Please ask for a vendor packet to be mailed to you.
We collect and turn in all sales taxes.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds. Show Credits available by condition. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). White Canopies Only. No Early Packup Allowed. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
A single-person or more panel lightly screens slides or photos.
All items must be hand made or embelished.
All items must be Fine Craft or Art.
Limited number of Artists per category.
Floor length table cloths required.
Sample product(s) required for jury process.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
