Description
| At our annual show, held the first weekend March5-7, 2010,is held to expose the public to the geological sciences and lapdiary arts. Our show is a 3 day event where if you come on Friday you can get a free 3 day pass for the other days. We have demonstrations, exhibits, displays and run a snack bar and cafeteria. We usually have a large fossil display and a special room dedicated to rocks that glow in the dark - fluorescent minerals. Its a great event for families and friends. You wont regret coming. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
Common Rules Selected: Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Driving Directions Exit West Bound off of I880. Take the Thornton Ave Exit.
As you travel down Thornton, the Newark Pavilion will be on your left side. The Pavilion's cross street is Cherry Ave.
