Description
| School fundraiser event featuring crafts, vendors and flea market. Retail vendors, hand made goods, non profits and community groups will participate. Bounce house for children. 3rd event at Madison Academy Charter School and we learn more and make more friends every time! |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
RULES AND REGULATIONS Please help us maintain a quality fundraiser by abiding by the following guidelines: 1. Early registration offers the exhibitor the opportunity to be printed in the advertisement. 2. Madison Academy 2009 Holiday Happening is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Exhibitors hereby agree to remain open during these hours. Exhibitor set up is Saturday, November 7th at 9:00am – 10:00am. Any exhibits not set up by 10:00am are subject to forfeit. Contact Madison PTO to discuss alternative setup times. Displays MUST be in operation and manned during show hours. No refunds if exhibitor does not attend the event. 3. Exhibitor space assignments will be made by Madison Academy PTO at the time payment and registration is received in full. Special requests for space assignments will be considered but are not guaranteed. Contact Madison PTO to discuss special requests. Chairs will be provided by Madison Academy PTO. 4. Exhibitor displays must be safely constructed and not constitute a hazard. Walkways must remain clear at all times. No nails, screws, staples or fixtures may be adhered to wall, floor or ceiling. Exhibitors will be responsible for any damage done to school property. 5. Electrical outlets are limited. Gymnasium exhibits may request one 110 volt electrical outlet and will be provided on a first come first served basis. Exhibitors must bring UL approved cords for display. Please no large spotlights. 6. Exhibitor parking will be provided behind Madison Academy (west side of building). Loading and unloading is convenient from the gymnasium doors, also located on the west side of the building. 7. Teardown of exhibits can begin at the conclusion of the event. Exhibitors may load vehicles after 4:00pm. NO exceptions. Exhibitors are responsible for removing their own debris, trash, boxes. 8. Security. Crafters are responsible for protecting their property from damage or loss. Someone must be present at your display during published show hours. Exhibitors must be responsible for their children at all times. 9. No smoking. No alcoholic beverages. No pets are permitted on school grounds at any time. No exhibitor may sell knives, guns or items considered weapons. No disruptive items may be sold. 10. Any returned checks will be accessed a $25.00 NSF fee. Neither the Madison Academy PTO volunteers nor the Madison Academy Charter School accepts any responsibility regarding changes to the school facility that could affect the Holiday Happening Craft Show, such as physical damage, construction or administrative decisions. In no case shall the Madison Academy PTO volunteers, or any of the officers, directors or employees of Madison Academy Charter School be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, death, theft or any other causes of any character, to any persons and/or property. Madison Academy PTO volunteers and Madison Academy Charter School officers, directors and employees shall accept no risk, whatsoever, or be held legally or otherwise responsible for any and all claims arising from the exhibitors participation in the Madison Academy 2009 Holiday Happening Craft Show. The exhibitor hereby releases any and all representatives of Madison Academy from any legal responsibilities. Each exhibitor assumes total and sole legal responsibility for any and all claims brought forth by any patron, employee, families, etc. including personal injuries of any kind sustained by the public personally or otherwise. Any complaints shall be brought to the attention of the Madison Academy PTO volunteers, to be resolved to the best of their ability. Exhibitor agrees to be bound by the decision of the Madison Academy PTO with no recourse. I understand and agree with the rules. I am applying to participate as a vendor. I will follow all rules and regulations. If I do not adhere to all regulations or if I misrepresent myself I will be asked to leave with no refund. Common Rules Selected: Vendors can share a booth. Held Rain or Shine! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
