Ghosts/Paranormal Event
The New Oxford Area Historical Society will be hosting a ghost tour of some of the haunted properties in New Oxford. Steve McNaughton, Paranormal Investigator and Author of Pennsylvania's Adams County Ghosts, will be guiding participants through the streets of New Oxford. See where spirits of children are said to play Ring-Around-The-Rosie; hear about what properties may have been involved in the underground railroad; see the houses where a neighborhood girl plays with unsuspecting travelers; discover which homes have dead owners still walking the halls; and step into the dirt floor cells of New Oxford's first jail.
To be held on one night only - Saturday, November 7, 2009. There will be two tours – 6pm and 8pm – beginning and ending at the New Oxford Coffee Company and Visitor’s Center. Tickets are available at the New Oxford Coffee Company, Center Square, and The Christmas Haus, 110 Lincoln Way West, both in New Oxford. Ticket prices: Day of Tour - $11, Advanced Purchase - $10, NOAHS Member - $9. No children under 10. No children under 16 without an adult. Space is limited, so get your tickets early!
