| A flea market with vendors selling both new & used items. Items you might find are Childrens Clothing, Personal Transport Vehicles, Silk Flower Arrangements, Knick Knacks, Seasonal items, Potpourri, Knives, Swords, Jewelry, Antiques, Furniture, Books. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
All vendors are responsible for being in their Space.
Monthly vendors, who are frequently absent, will have their
merchandise boxed up and their space will be rented.
Setup begins at 8:00 AM.
Call if you will be late to avoid loss of space.
Vendor shall be responsible for all
government permitting (including sales tax).
Charlotte's Old Fashioned Flea Market and The Metrolina
Tradeshow Expo accept no responsibility for loss to vendor
for any reason. If a negligent act of a vendor results in a law suit,
Charlotte's Old Fashioned Flea Market's insurance company will
subrogate against vendor for the full amount of loss paid.
All merchandise is to be kept within the red lines.
Any alterations or changes to spaces require
permission of management.
Banned or prohibited items for sale include but are not limited to:
All food items (anything consumable on premises)
Firearms, fireworks, illegal or offensive items,
dangerous, vicious, or poisonous animals, alcohol,
drugs or drug paraphernalia.
Produce, Fruits & Vegetables Are NOT included as Food Items.
Homemade goods, which are approved for sale, must be in compliance with all
North Carolina Health Department Regulations.
Vendors are responsible for the cleanup of their space.
All trash must be placed in proper receptacles.
Vendors are expected to dress appropriately, including but not limited to the fact that all vendors must wear shoes & shirts with NO OFFENSIVE signage on clothing.
Offensive signage on merchandise will be determined by management
and must be kept out of sight.
NO pets without prior permission.
Children must be kept under control.
Loud or boisterous noises are prohibited including
demonstration of sound and musical equipment.
Courtesy for your neighbor is to be used in the display
of your merchandise and signs. Don't block your neighbors merchandise.
Signs are to be hung in such a manner that they will not be a safety hazard.
PRIOR APPROVAL is required to hang signs.
RULES AND REGULATIONS subject to change without notice.
RULES AND REGULATIONS posted in the office shall prevail.
Common Rules Selected: Vendors can share a booth. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |

Retail Items Allowed.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.

Driving Directions I-77 North
I-77 North to exit 16-A. Turn right and go to second light and turn left on Statesville Road. Go about 1/4 mile and turn left into Metrolina Tradeshow Expo.
