Description
| This is a show that has been held yearly since 1997. It has always been good, but it is not as big as it used to be. We have also included home business products in the past 4 years as the crafters have not been signing up. This year, 2009, we have about an equal number of each. 10 art and craft, and 10 commercial. Craft, art, gifts and live demonstration exhibits throughout the Mall area. It is a very busy mall |

| The budget depends on sign up. It's been about $300 for the past two years. The mall fees have gone up so much there is not much to go on. But, Last spring of 2009 was a super show. 23 vendors and they all were extremely pleased with their sales. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
tables must be covered to the floor on all four sides in an attractive manner with one color of your choice. Premises must be kept neat and clean. Signs must be of good quality and gaudy “sale” or “discount” signs are prohibited . Demonstrations are encouraged, but you may not magnify your voice or walk beyond your booth to attract customers. T.V’s and computers may be used if not loud. Equipment and furnishings such as racks, tables, chairs, extension chords, carpets to cover wires, lights, tape, etc, must be brought in by the exhibitor. Tables are available to rent at Southerb Hills Mall as stated on the application. Electrical wires must be covered with carpet, or mats. No tape may be used on floor unless by permission. Mall Rules for each show must be observed.. Displays must not exceed 6’ unless permission. Advertising is done in classified shoppers and other means depending on the show and how soon exhibitors sign up. Parking and loading zones must be observed according to each show. No spaces will be saved without a deposit. I decide the layout of the show for each booth depending on category, etc. with permission from mall management. No cash refunds will be given for cancellation, only credit .
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Vendors can share a booth. Vendors do not have to signup for all event dates. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. No Refunds. Show Credits available by condition. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! No pop guns, marshmellow guns or other disruptive items may be sold. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. Floor Length Table Cloth Required. Vehicle must be parked in designated areas. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Limited number of Artists per category.
Floor length table cloths required.
All product types to be sold must be listed on application.
Pre-show inspection of items and booths will be performed.
Vendors with items violating contract terms WILL BE asked to remove them.
