Description
The Parkway West Band Boosters invites you to participate in our 28th Arts & Crafts Fair.  The Arts & Crafts Fair is open to individuals, non-profit organizations, and general vendors, 18 years of age and older.  (No one under the age of 18 can operate a booth without an adult present.).

To participate, we ask you return to us in the enclosed envelope, your completed application, required booth photos*, booth preference and your booth payment (cash, check or money order), made payable to Parkway West Band Boosters, no later than Saturday, July 30, 2011.  

Each applicant must submit at least 2 clear, detailed photos* representative of all items to be sold at your booth.  Photos will be kept on file and not returned.  Quality photo copies or computer images of your craft and or booth will be accepted.  If you are a returning vendor, please submit updated photos for our files.  These detailed photos are used to jury you, please make them clear and close up.  Applications received without photos will be returned.

Parkway West Band Boosters will pay $25 to any vendor who brings a new exhibitor to the fair.  The exhibitor must name you as the referring vendor.  You and each vendor you refer must participate in the fair at the same time as exhibitors each with separate booths.

The booth layout is enclosed showing the number of each booth.  Each booth is 10 x 10 and two folding chairs are provided with each booth.  Electricity, tables and corner booths cost extra and may be reserved on the enclosed application.  Booth assignments will be made on a first come first serve basis and availability of unreserved space.  We will do our best to accommodate your requests but will not make guarantees.  Setup will begin on Friday, September 30 at 6:00 p.m. ending at 10:00 p.m. and will resume again on Saturday, October 1 at 6:00 a.m.

This is a juried craft fair and NO one is assured of a booth for the ensuing festival until the jury meets and you have received an acceptance letter.  Application deadline is Saturday, July 30, 2011.  Applicants who are accepted will receive a confirmation letter or e-mail no later than Wednesday, August 31, 2011.  Applications received after the July deadline will be processed accordingly until fair is sold out.  Checks will be returned to those applicants not accepted as a result of the jury process.

We reserve the right to refuse ANY application without recourse.  Persons, selling items deemed inappropriate for a school or family setting, second hand or garage sale merchandise will automatically be declined.

AS AN APPROVED EXHIBITOR INTO THE PARKWAY WEST BAND BOOSTERS ARTS & CRAFT FAIR, I AGREE:

•     TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD PARKWAY WEST BAND BOOSTER CLUB, INC. (“PWBB”), ITS OFFICERS AND MEMBERS AND THE PARKWAY SCHOOL DISTRICT HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, COSTS, REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES, EXPENSES, DAMAGES, AND LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF MY PARTICIPATION IN THE 2011 PARKWAY WEST BAND BOOSTERS ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR, AND TO MAINTAIN REASONABLE, COMMERCIAL GENERAL LIABILITY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE INSURANCE WITH RESPECT TO THE USE, POSSESSION AND OPERATION OF MY BOOTH.
•     TO USE MY BEST EFFORT TO PRESENT A HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT OR SERVICE AS REPRESENTED IN MY JURY PHOTOS SUBMITTED WITH MY APPLICATION, ENSURING THE ITEMS ARE APPROPRIATE FOR A SCHOOL OR FAMILY SETTING AND REPRESENTED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

To use my best effort to present a high quality product or service as represented in my jury photos submitted with my application, ensuring the items are appropriate for a school or family setting and represented in a professional manner.
Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Jury materials, slides or photos, will not be returned to you. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Held Rain or Shine! ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Raffle / Door Prize Donation Required. Food Service will take orders from and deliver to vendor booths. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space. No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible. Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards. No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area. All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
