This is a real old time festival...There are lots of demonstrations, knitting, spinning, twine making, metal work but most importantly it is the showcase of Hewell Pottery and the fire kiln process, hence turn and burn. They also have a tractor show, animals, pony rides, lots of great food and plenty of arts and crafts including, honey, homemade soap, old time photography prints, quilting, folk art, and a full display of face jugs and pottery for sale.
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
For crafts you have to audition your work with the family to be accepted to sell. Common Rules Selected: Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
