The show features handcrafted items and fine art works of more than 100 juried artisans, food vendors, and live entertainment. Our show's artisans offer a variety of handcrafted items from jewelry, candles, floral arrangements & wreaths, decorations & Christmas ornaments, wood items, gourmet food & dips, herbals, soaps to name a few. Art works include beautiful watercolor prints by Eric Mohn, photographs by local photographer Sterling Smith, and haunting black & white Civil War ghost images by Tim Johnson. Rockdale Forge will be demonstrating blacksmithing and selling wrought ion creations. Many other artisans will be demonstrating their crafts.
The XXVI Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival -- celebrating a slice of West Virginia Life, will take place in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, from October 13 - 16, 2005. This family-oriented event celebrates and promotes agriculture -- and particularly the apple industry -- in our area.
Juried arts and craft show featuring a variety of art and hand crafted items. These include watercolor print, pictures, photography, a variety of textiles including quilts, stained glass, fall and Christmas decorations,jewelry, candles, homemade soaps and lotions, and wood items for the home and decorations.
Many of our artisans demonstrate their work during the show such as a blacksmith who set up a portable forge and anvil. Other ortisans demonstrate basket making, chair caning, decorative painting, and needle work.
In addition to our artisans we have several food vendors who offer a variety of sandwiches and goodies. Breakfast is served both mornings by the local Kiawanas from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
For 32 years, the Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival has celebrated the rich agricultural heritage of this part of West Virginia, highlighting the role of the apple in that tradition.

Major changes for 2012! Location change, fee change, vendors are also required to get a city tax permit (additional cost).
Items must be HAND CRAFTED of the highest quality workmanship, originality and creativity.
We reserve the right to reject any art or craft which is not of satisfactory quality. No item which is imported, manufactured, unfinished, kit crafted, mass produced, or purchased will be accepted.
Vendors acknowledge receipt of application for Martinsburg City License and its requirements and to collect B&O tax. Please contact License clerk:

B&O tax: Gross Receipts of Retailers and other 0.50 per $100
EXAMPLE: Vendor Gross receipts of $300.00 you will pay $1.50 for B&O taxes to the City
If it is determined that you have purchased items in your booth, you will be asked to remove the item(s) or to leave without refund of your booth fee. You may use purchased items to make your craft but it must be something you have compiled and created.
No pets or electrical appliances allowed without the permission.
Please note that on Friday, October 19th the Roundhouse Complex will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to allow all vendors a day to set up. During this time vendors may enter through the front gate, (off of Liberty Street) check in, unload & set up. You may park where specified vendor parking area convenient area, as well for Saturday and Sunday.
Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival and The Roundhouse Authority organizations are not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of goods related to vendors business.
There will be guards on duty after hours on Friday and Saturday to guard and protect items from theft or any type of disturbance.
The hours of the show are 9-6 on Saturday and 9-5 on Sunday
NO booth fee will be refunded for any reason. Refunds can only be approved by the committee.
Vendors may not begin breakdown until 5pm on Sunday.

Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope with enough postage for the jury materials you are sending to be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Gas Generators. No Early Packup Allowed. Table Cloth or Drape Required. Event Helping Hands will come around/be available to relieve you for short periods. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
