Artesia Arts Council's 29th Annual Art in the Park. This is an all Handcrafted Art and Craft Fair held in the heart of downtown Artesia, NM on the corner of 7th Street and Quay. Limit 100 vendors. The Public School Bands hold their cake walk in conjunction with us, so we get a really good draw of people to the show and it has a real good festive atmosphere.
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
TO INSURE THAT ALL THE ITEMS ARE HANDCRAFTED PHOTOS ARE REQUIRED UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE THE SHOW BEFORE IN THE LAST 2 YEARS, YOU CAN EMAIL THE PHOTOS IN WITH A NOTE THAT APP IS IN THE MAIL OR MAIL THE PHOTOS WITH APPLICATION. THERE IS NOT A JURY FEECommon Rules Selected:
Jury materials will be returned to you. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. No streamer poppers, snaps, silly string, stink bombs or other similar items may be sold! Trash must be removed from your space to provided receptacles. No Early Packup Allowed. Standard Rules:
All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax.
Event Quality Level Determining Flags:
Photos of workshop, supplies, or works in progress required.
All items must be entirely hand-made, no Embellishments only.
All items must be entirely hand-made by the artist alone.
