Historic Fallsington Day

As in the past, crafters, demonstrators, entertainment, and many of the activities will be set up along the streets of Fallsington and on Meetinghouse Square. Therefore, in order to provide safe space for the event as well as the safety of our visitors, Village streets will be closed to vehicular traffic. People arriving by car will be directed to ample parking at the Fallsington Elementary School.

Dressed in traditional regalia, headpieces made of deer tail and porcupine hair, bustles resplendent with eagle and hawk feathers, descendants of the Delaware Indian Nations, will perform traditional Native American dances. Led by the Head Dancer of many powwows, Walter Anderson, this dance ensemble known as Rising Turtle will not only entertain the audience, but will share the culture and traditions of the indigenous people of our area the great Lenni Lenape.
