[Description] => Adams Morgan Day is an annual event held for the past 28 years in the heard of the diverse and exciting neighborhood of Adams Morgan. The festival consists of 2 parts. the closing of 18th st with 3 music stages, food vendors, vendors, dance plaza, kids stage and more, and the Art on Belmont area where Belmont street is closed off (connected to 18th) and 45 fine art and craft exhibitors set up.
This is the most famous festival in DC and attracts over 25,000 people.
Art on Belmont is known for the high quality merchandice that the exhibitors sell, and atracts serious shoppers throughout the day. The 45 exhibitors each get a full 10x10 space (double spaces available). We create a diverse group of exhibitors by limiting the number of exhibitor in any givien media form. Be prepared with a good inventory as you will be selling a lot.
Adams Morgan Day - "Arts On Belmont" is a full day of fun in Adams Morgan. Thousands of people from all over the area visit Adams Morgan on that day to shop, eat, and enjoy live entertainment. The "Arts on Belmont" has a long history as a great part of Adams Morgan Day. This is where we highlight some of the most talented artisans in the area. We have many repeat vendors who do extremely well at this show as it draws many patrons of the arts. This is one of the best shows in DC.
We are looking forward to new artisans as well as high quality crafts. Fine art including reproductions are accepted, as well as original photography. High quality jewelry, pottery, glassware, and other unique crafts are encouraged.

With a unique collection of local acts, specialty vendors, and arts and crafts from around the world, the festival had become a local favorite and attracts thousands each year.

[ApplicationRules] => Art and Craft vendor Guidelines
All items must be handmade by the artist or be reproductions (prints) of the artist’s own work.
Art and craft vendors must supply their own 10’ x 10’ white tent and all chairs, tables, etc., which they require to display their work. Tents will be inspected by the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (www.dcra.dc.gov) on the morning of September 9th, 2007. Please have a professional display representing your work with a quality presentation.
Each vendor is personally responsible for the collection and reporting of DC Sales Tax.
Adams Morgan MainStreet, Inc., and Adams Morgan Day 2007 are not responsible for any loss, theft, or injury incurred by any vendor.
Festival Hours are 10am to 7pm on September 9th, 2007. Set-up begins at 7am and all cars must be off Belmont Road by 9am. Vendors must stay with their booths for the duration of the festival. Break-down and pack-up should not start prior to 7pm and should be completed by 8pm.
General Guidelines
Cancellation Policy: Adams Morgan MainStreet, Inc., reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the festival due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen disaster or calamity, which may occur at any time prior to or during the operation of the event. Adams Morgan MainStreet, Inc., shall not be held liable for damages, claims, expenses, or losses incurred from cancellation. Under no circumstances shall there be any booth refunds made due to cancellation after August 23rd, 2007. No refunds based on vendor cancellation will be given after August 23rd, 2007.
Payment: Checks will only be cashed on August 15th, 2007. By then you must return the Participation Agreement, signed and dated. There is a $25.00 fee for retuned checks.
Use of Booth Space: Booth rentals are non-transferable. Booth approval is valid only for the sale of good or exhibition of materials described in the submitted application and guidelines herein.
Booth Assignment Policy: Placement of booths will be governed by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, DC Emergency Management Agency rules, pedestrian walkability, variety and placement, and timeliness of application’s receipt, and at the sole discretion of Adams Morgan Day Planning Committee.
Booth Space: Booth space consists of a 10 feet by 10 feet space at the festival site. Booth occupants must provide all materials for their space. Your space must be kept clean, trash free, without boxes in the open or other material not intended for display. Your space must be left clean at the end of the festival.
You will be notified independently of your booth space assignment upon the receipt of your vendor application agreement.
