Description
Cassidy Park will be divided into present-day and yesterday events, as Festival in the Park brings craft, food, commercial and non-profit vendors to the west side, and Friends of Cassidy Park Museums presents a civil war reenactment encampment to the east side. Schools' day cancelled for Friday but other two days will have battles and general camp life demonstrations. Children\'s entertainment, as well as craft and food vendors. Vendor applications are available; there is free admission and parking. |
Entertainment
Slidell Battalion will bring in reenactment groups from across three states, with a period dress dance scheduled for Saturday night. Music and dance relative to the 1860\'s will be all weekend on stage. |
Event/Application Rules & Regulations
City park does not allow alcohol or dogs. Security is provided at night by police. Common Rules Selected: Previous acceptance does not guarantee re-acceptance. Vendors can share a booth. Spots are assigned prior to show based by promoter. Conditional Partial or Full Refunds by conditions such as date and whether your space is resold. Held Rain or Shine! Overnight Security Provided. ALL product categories must be itemized on the application. No vendor may sell any soft drinks, name brand drinks, or bottled water. Trash must be removed from event premises. No receptacles provided. Additional Lighting Recommended (bring lights and cords). No Early Packup Allowed. Vehicles can be left behind/in/near spot. Standard Rules: All work and displays must stay within designated space.
No boxes, extra merchandise or debris should be visible.
Spot area must be kept clean throughout the event and be left spotless afterwards.
No soliciting, approaching patrons, or distribution of advertising material outside of booth area.
All vendors must have a state sales tax license. Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all sales tax. |

Driving Directions LA Hwy. 21 runs north and south thru Bogalusa from Covington or from MS.
LA Hwy 10 runs east and west thru Bogalusa from I-55 to MS Hwy 26 to Poplarville.
Willis Ave. runs east and west thru Bogalusa--follow signs to High School and Bogalusa Chamber.
