Louy, I can't say enough to express my gratitude to you and the site. I have been able to find the quality crafters I need to help my event grow. We just had our best bazaar ever, 65 fabulous vendors (several from the site) and well over 500 shoppers through the door. I also had many vendors check in with me to insure a spot for next year. At the end of the bazaar, I was presented with a hand crafted autograph book donated by a vendor, and signed by all the vendors as a thank you for a great show. I'll dine on that one for months!!

We received many new inquiries from vendors who would not have otherwise heard of our event, including retail type vendors (like Avon). The information you provide in your newsletter-type emails is VERY helpful - the one about promoting/advertising events is stapled into my notes!  I did everything you said - the vendors particularly liked getting the postcard type information flyers to pass out to their friends.  We used the balloons on our signs and slapped up flyers everywhere.  We did have some difficulty managing to get signs big and splashy enough (we're a non-profit, so we ran out of money!); I know you didn't necessarily recommend a paid ad in the papers, but the press releases are too small.

Our organization, Knox Friends of the Park, hosted our town's Harvest Festival last year.  According to many of the members,  this site helped to greatly increase the amount and type of craft and food booths we had.  This in turn helped us to raise money for the kids we wanted to help and helped the attending vendors since our attendance grew.  The other aspect that this site helped with is that we heard from more people with different types of skills.  We even added to our entertainment with someone who saw our Festival on this site.  Thanks Louis.  I know it must be a lot of work to keep up but I love it and am in the process of posting an event for another organization in Starke County.  This helps everyone!
